About Us

The story

Wilmar and Natasha Grové are the founding pastors of Be Church and have been married since 2009. They have two sons Vahnt and Kailo and as a family they are passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ and to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit. They are dedicated to equipping people to become fruitful and powerful in the Kingdom of God. Wilmar and Natasha completed their studies in Ministry in 2005 and have been itinerant prophetic ministers for many years, flowing as Prophetic Psalmists, Teachers, Encouragers and is a Father and Mother in the Spirit to many.

Establishing the Church

In 2014 Wilmar & Natasha were sent out by Pastor Nevil and Rina Norden (Founders of Lewende Woord Ministries) to start with a Church planting cell group in the house, on the church premises, in the East of Pretoria. It grew to a point that they officially started with Sunday services on 1 March 2015. After two years of trusting God and plowing into the ministry, the congregation grew and they trusted God for the next step…a larger place to gather. By November 2017 the congregation moved into their newly pitched tent…a prayer answered by God! After working full-time in the corporate industry for several years, and simultaneously leading the ministry, they both resigned from the corporate field and started as full-time ministers. In March 2019, they ordained Eckhardt & Anzel Olivier as pastors to assist in the work of the ministry.

With the slogan being “Formed to Function” we believe everyone has a part to fulfill in the Body of Christ. We have a passion in raising up people to take a hold of the Kingdom of God and to live out their life-purpose and destiny. We are active in local and international missions, and strongly encourage people to become involved in discipling the nations.

Our Next Step

Our aim is to faithfully grow the ministry and congregation. With the tent being a temporary structure, we trust God for the grace and capacity to start building the permanent structure for our services, courses, training, and community.
